Kalymnos Arginonta skyline

Follow the road North out of Masouri to Arginonta and turn right up the hill that leads to Vathy. After a couple of hairpin bends and just over two kilometres, there is a small concrete wall and a large cairn on the left hand side of the road. Park here and follow the cairned track that leads along the bottom of the cliffs. Piccalia (10 to 15 minutes); Jägerwand (15 minutes); Little Verdon and Ovoland (30 minutes). The sectors Haute Gorge (1 hour) and Kryptos (75 minutes) are further still. To get to Haute Gorge continue past Little Verdon for about 20 minutes until you reach a lonely tree. The crag is down on the left. To reach Kryptos cotinue past Little Verdon to the col, and at the far end of this is a large letter K on the rock. Descend for about 40m, then go along a ledge with a fixed rope and scramble up a small pillar via a second fixed rope to reach the crag.
