Rauhkopf

From the hut head steeply up to the east soon crossing from south to north to a small ravine. Continue north-east towards the rocks sweeping down from the western ridge. North of these rocks begins a slope that you enter as high as possible and then traverse on the flat from south to north. In uncertain snow conditions, or if you only want to go to Bieltal over the Bieltaljoch, ski further north and then over flatter terrain in a large arc to the east. Continue over the wide slopes of the Rauhkopfgletscher east to southeast to the Rauhkopfscharte. Ski depot. Go west around the first cliffs through a gully onto the south ridge of the Rauhkopfes to the summit. Descent to the Wiesbadener Hütte by the same route. To descend to Madlenerhaus, take the 1100m descent through the Bieltal, going north from the Rauhkopfscharte to the Bieltalferner. Do not ski close to the north flank of the Höhes Rad, even if it is tracked, avalanche danger.
