Kalymnos Vathy
Vathy is a pleasant and pictueresque port on the east side of alymnos. It is best know for its Deep Water Soloing crag, but there are also some long sea traverses and a couple of bolted cliffs. When it is hot and the water is warm, it is a great place to spend a rest day.
Drive to Vathy on the East side of Kalymnos and then to reach the main DWS crag either : 1) Hire a canoe from the port 2) Negotiate with one of the restaurants to take you in a boat to the climbing (5 minutes), they will often do this for a group for free if you have a meal with them afterwards 3) Follow the footpath north of the gorge to just above the chapel, and then walk steeply down to the chapel and the crag (no defined path, and not obvious where to descend) 4) Scramble along the coastline. Will take time but possible
